Itinerary
Day 1 Santorini
Arrival day. Join the group at 11 am for a welcome meeting and a short water taxi to Thirassia to start your journey through the Cyclades.
We highly recommend booking pre-tour accommodation to have time to explore Santorini.
On our Greek sailing trips, the G Adventures Skipper/CEO will help you set up a food kitty, where around EUR 90 per person, per trip will be added to the kitty for small food items on board to cover breakfasts, lunches, and the odd dinner. You prepare breakfasts and lunches, and most dinners are taken ashore at local restaurants. Arrival Day and Welcome Meeting with G Representative
The adventure begins today. Feel free to explore, but make sure you're back in time to meet the group. Your G Representative will review your tour details.
Santorini : Cyclades
Get into the thick of things swiftly aboard one of our sharp-looking yachts.
Days 2-4 Cyclades - Ios/Small Cyclades/Naxos
Spend time in the Greek Isles with experienced skippers and a flexible schedule. The coming days will be tailored to the group's preferences and weather conditions. Stops might include Ios, the Small Cyclades, and Naxos.
The Cyclades offer a range of experiences on each island.
While on Ios, relax on famous Magganari beach and don't forget to visit Homer's tomb.
Head out on an optional all-day adventure with your fellow yachtmates and skipper as you discover the best Naxos has to offer: the Temple of Dimitra, a microbrewery, views of Mt Zeus, and a meal at a local tavern.
Please note: While it is our intention to adhere to the route described, there is a certain amount of flexibility built into the itinerary, and on occasion it may be necessary, or desirable, to make alterations. On Day 1 of your tour, we will advise you of any amendments.

Ios Island Excursion
Stop at Ios Island and get up close to the hillside clusters of blue-roofed white buildings, explore an amphitheater and stand on the golden beaches. Look out at the sapphire sea while soaking in the Greek island ambiance.
Take a scenic 25-minute walk up the hill to the old town of Hora. If there's time, visit the tomb of the famous poet Homer or head to the famous Manganari beach on the south side of the island to enjoy the sun and clear water.
Naxos Island Excursion Naxos
Set off on one of the favorite day trips around Naxos, the largest of the Cycladic islands, with insights and tips from a knowledgeable local expert. Grab your license and explore the island by car, uncovering highlights like the ancient Temple of Demeter, a local microbrewery, and the Church of Panagia Drosiani, home to rare 6th-century wall paintings. Take in panoramic views of Mount Zeus where mythical giant stone gods meet nature, before settling in for a delicious meal at a traditional taverna. * Please note: Non-EU drivers will need an International Driving License to rent a car. Prepare for an immersive educational experience led by experts at the Naxos Wildlife Protection Association:an established Wildlife Rescue, first-aid station, and G Adventures-supported initiative-offering valuable insights into sea turtle conservation. During this community tourism visit, travelers will gain a deeper understanding of sea turtle biology, the threats they face, and the essential rescue protocols for assisting injured or sick turtles. Enjoy an informative discussion around the program and leave with a heightened awareness of the responsible actions needed to safeguard these beautiful marine creatures and their natural habitats.
Day 5 Mykonos
Arrive in Mykonos and visit the local windmills, then enjoy a cocktail on a veranda overlooking Little Venice. The beaches and nightlife add excitement to this picturesque island.

Mykonos Island Excursion Mykonos
Explore the island of Mykonos, Greece's most famous cosmopolitan island. Named for the grandson of the Greek God Apollo, Mykonos has a uniquely glam yet simple vibe and something for everyone. Vibrant nightlife, beautiful beaches, and historic sites draw in all kinds of travelers, including celebrities, families, and students. Visit the local windmills and maybe enjoy a cocktail on a veranda overlooking Little Venice.
Days 6-9 Cyclades - Syros/Paros/Sifnos/Folegandros
Spend the next few days enjoying more of the Cyclades. Depending on where the wind will take us, stroll through the markets of Syros, uncover the beauty of the Venetian ruins in Paros, and walk and hike through the trails and paths of Sifnos. Wander the breathtaking cliffside city of Hora or enjoy cocktails at sunset.

Get into the thick of things swiftly aboard one of our sharp-looking yachts. Syros Island Excursion Nisos Syros
Stretch those sea legs on the island of Syros while on a short hike, visiting local markets or admiring the Medieval architecture unique to the island. The major port city of Ermoupolis is the financial center and capital of Syros and the Cyclades. Depending on where the group decides to explore, head to some of the island's small beaches or try scuba diving.
Paros Island Excursion Paros
Visit the island of Paros in the heart of the Cyclades, known for its hidden beaches, quaint villages and bountiful plant life. The countryside is filled with vineyards, olive groves, and fruit trees, while in the spring the scenery is dotted with bursts of color from blooming flowers. Explore or sit back at a taverna, enjoy the view, and savor some yummy Greek food. History buffs tend to flock to the North side of Paros to Naousa to see the town's historic port and Venetian ruins.
Sifnos Island Excursion Nisi Sifnos
Walk around the island of Sifnos past snowy white houses, little churches with blue domes on green hills that lead to sandy beaches. Hike along the walking trails with spectacular views of olive groves and wild juniper. The island hosts several small, locally owned and operated ceramic workshops, some of which are open to the public. Stop in and pick up a unique, authentic keepsake to take home.
Folegandros Island Excursion Folegandros
Explore one of the must-see islands in the Cyclades, Folegandros, and the beautiful city of Hora. The capital, located in the hills, boasts a traffic-free main street with plenty of green spaces to explore. Spend some time hiking the trails, taking photos of the classic whitewashed houses decorated with colorful bougainvillea, or exploring under the waves while snorkeling.
Day 10 Santorini
Depart after breakfast. Depending on weather conditions and access, the drop-off location may vary. A shuttle transfer will take you from Thirassia to Santorini Island, where you can explore or relax before your onward journey.

Discover ancient ruins in Athens, including the Acropolis - a UNESCO World Heritage site of an ancient citadel with the iconic Parthenon temple, dedicated to the goddess Athena.
Visit the home of the Oracle of Delphi in the Sanctuary of Apollo. Take a guided tour through the archaeological sites, see numerous monuments, temples, and the reconstructed Athenian Treasury, and learn about the region's myths and stories.
Climb the stairs to the top of Meteora and discover the UNESCO World Heritage listed 14th century monasteries that are perched on a series of ancient rock pinnacles.
Indulge in the many flavors of Greek cuisine, like moussaka (layered eggplant or potato, meat, and a creamy sauce) or grilled lamb and tzatziki,

See some of Greece's best sites with curated activities and plenty of free time. Maybe visit the Panathinaiko Stadium that hosted the first Olympic Games in Athens or walk along the waterfront to the White Tower in Thessaloniki.
