The Dirty Edge Gravel Race
Grace decided to attend the Dirty Edge this year. A gravel ride just North of Fruita on the 18 road in Western Colorado.
We camped at the Book Cliffs campground at the race start. A very basic campground, but highly utilized by many mountain, gravel, and road bikers in the area.
Grace finished the race. The awards ceremony was fun, with 1st-, 2nd-, and 3rd-place winners announced in each age category.
After the race, we had a regular hotel - the Balanced Rock - reserved in Fruita. A good choice to clean up after the race and get rest on a real bed.
