Rockstar Bridge

I started writing a book on bridge called Rockstar bridge during the pandemic. The book describes an update to the modern bridge convention system of 2/1. It addresses the deficency of the 2/1 bidding system that keeps it from being adopted more widely. Standard American (also called 5 card majors) was developed over a hundred years ago in the bridge world. 2/1 updated the Standard American almost 50 years ago and still in the competitive bridge world, the two system are roughly equal in adoption. This is because while 2/1 has some advantages it has a few weaknesses. Those relate to the complexity of the making so many 2-level bids game forcing and the complexity of the putting so many hand types into the forcing 1NT response bid.
Rockstar starts by taking back the standard meaning of 1NT and replacing the complex forcing 1NT and 2/1 game forcing bids with the simple bids of 2!c (invitational) and 2!d (game forcing). Rockstar has many more improvements to produce more exact and useful auctions in contract bridge. You can read more about it at the Rockstar website.
