Washington DC 2024

I visited Washington DC October 29th-November 1st in 2024. The trip as a quick visit mostly to celebrate my friend Rick Buck's birthday.
I was really impressed with the DC Metro system. (TBD hints and tips) The metro is so convienent that I would recommend find accomodations anywhere in the greater DC area and use the metro to get to and from the airport. Most rides are less than $5. It is the easiest way to get in and out of the central DC area (Museums, Capitol, Monuments, etc.) Also, very easy to get to the stadiums for Football or Hockey.
We visited the Smithsonian Air and Space. We also enjoyed the Lincoln, Jefferson and Washington Monuments. We had some great local beers and good food.
